One way of creating a coined name for example could be take two synonyms of two different words and then fuse them together somehow to create one new word that means both of the words. Sometimes you will find a really cool word that seems like it would be a great name to have, but you're not exactly sure what the word means entirely, look up the word quick and easy in an online dictionary. Again we just usually go straight away to MSN's Encarta Dictionary, but we also check a couple other dictionaries also to make sure they coincide with each other and maybe even notice an interesting word that is part of the definition of the word you originally looked up. Different dictionaries usually will have slightly different wording for the same definition, and if you find another interesting word, you may consider using it as part of your name idea.

Online Automatic Name Generators are interesting to use. There are a few different types of them. There are generators that can take a word that you supply to it and it will come up with relative names using that word, and there are generators that will just entirely invent some new completely random word, we actually don't use name generators very often, but you never know, a name generator might actually come up with a really good name for you. Of course you already know this, but don't forget that search engines are your #1 tools to use. They are fast to use as well, for example if we need a quick synonym for the word gadget, just open yahoo or google and type "synonym gadget" and there will be results for synonyms for gadget. Some of the results will even show some synonyms for the word gadget in their description. Also other results for gadget will come up which may catch your attention, because they might spark up more ideas for you towards your name idea.
